How a customer used Twitter to effect a change
Once upon a time (last Sunday) a guy named Michael Rudoy walked into La Perla's SoHo shop for, I'm guessing here, some undies for a lady friend.
What Rudoy got instead was an eyeful of scantily clad mannequins -- one of which in particular --rubbed him the wrong way.

"How does #LaPerla think ribs on a mannequin is ok?!" the miffed entrepreneur, perhaps seeking catharsis via social media, promptly Tweeted.
Impressively, by the following morning (at 4:09 am!) La Perla had responded to Rudoy and the PR machine sprang into action, momentarily appeasing those angered by the emaciated dummy.
Within 5 hours, the Italian lingerie company had acted and the offending MqRib had been dragged back to a storage room somewhere. (Or clothed in a less-revealing outfit.)
A few questions; is the super-skinny model offensive to you? Do you think the store did the right thing by removing it from display? Was this a positive example of how social media can be used to effect change?
