Color us disappointed, but not really surprised: Women are now able to purchase a "thigh gap" -- that much-coveted space between the thighs that signifies a certain level of "sexy thin."

Plastic surgeons at the Marina Plastic Surgery in Marina del Rey, California, are offering to give you a thigh gap via "CoolSculpting." It's a procedure that "freezes away" and removes "stubborn" thigh fat.

Of course, the thigh gap, for many, is simply a function of body type. Women who are mesomorphs are just more likely to have the gap because of the way their bones are arranged on their frames. Endomorphs, not so much. Still, that hasn't stopped plastic surgeons from promising the world.

"I see a growing number of patients who, despite leading a healthy lifestyle through diet and exercise, cannot eliminate stubborn fat on certain parts of their bodies, and the thigh ranks high on the list to achieve the coveted space called the 'thigh gap,'" said Grant Stevens, MD, FACS, the medical director of Marina Plastic Surgery.
