How To Control Thick Frizzy Hair

Learn how to properly control thick frizzy hair

Thick frizzy hair can be quite a pain, but the good news is that there are many ways to manage and control it. One simple thing you can do is wash your hair with cold water, or at least blast your locks with a good amount of cold water after washing your hair. Cold water helps hair look shinier, locking in moisture and reducing overall frizz. Also, dry brushing hair is another common reason for frizz. Always comb hair when wet, and if you must comb your dry hair, be sure to use your fingers instead so as not to break your strands and cause more distress. Another note to keep in mind is to avoid using excess product on your hair. Many people tend to pile on the hair oils, creams and serums, which often can make hair look and feel greasy and heavy. Instead, apply a light amount of product to hair and rub between your palms first before distributing evenly from root to strand. A light conditioning spray or Moroccan oil are great products for helping moisturize hair and fight frizz. I usually control my hair with argan oil from Pro naturals, I use it on damp hair and that usually does the trick!
