Makeup Tips For Brown Eyes

Check out these makeup tips for brown eyes

Fortunately for you brown eyed gals out there, most eye shadows and colors will look great with your eyes. Brown does not have an opposite or complementary color on the color wheel, so just follow these simple makeup tips for brown eyes that will work on any occasion. If you have deep brown eyes, medium to dark eye shadow shades work best on you. Colors that look great include plum, charcoal and deep green. If you have more medium colored brown eyes, violets and bronzes work quite well, whereas if you have lighter brown eyes, try champagne tones with violet, bronze and brown liner. When selecting eyeliner, dark brown and black are the best colors for brown eyes. Brown eyeliner is ideal for a more natural look, while black is good for a more dramatic and intense look. Other makeup tips for brown eyes include starting with a mauve makeup palette and mixing distilled water to your eyeshadow colors in order to make the colors look even deeper. If you have trouble deciding between two different eye colors, use one as your base and the other as your highlighter, then finish off with mascara. I like putting a gold/bronze eyeliner on the inner corners of my eyes. It looks pretty and makes me look more awake.

I have medium to dark brown eye's and always used the brown's when it came to applying eyeshadow. I DID notice that it really did nothing for my eyes which is my best facial feature so I found advice on here about trying mauve's, plum's, grey's, etc.. since there is NO color you cannot use with brown eyes.. I LOVE the mauve and grey color's together and apply from the lightest color to the darkest (I D0 add water too) until I get that perfect look.. It made my eyes so much more noticeable and I received so many compliments..I watch tutorial's on applying make-up and finally learned how to apply eye make up like the pro's although it took a lot of time, trying and re-trying, and a lot of patience..Thanks totalbeauty and everyone who made comments for sharing this information

I've noticed that gold eyeshadows make my eyes look more awake and bigger. Sparkly/shimmer nudes are also beautiful!
