After you do this several times, tame your fly aways with an anti frizz pomade or serum. Try Joe Grooming Straightening Pomade, an aloe-based molding wax that works especially well on curly or wavy hair. It contains natural beeswax and gum resin that will prevent sticky buildup in your hair while blocking out moisture at the same time, which often leads to frizz. Rub in your hands first, then pull downwards throughout your hair. If you want an ultra sleek finish, you can use a ceramic flat iron after you blow dry hair straight in order to completely flatten your strands for a straighter look.
Now that you know how to blow dry hair straight at home, you will have salon results without having to go to your hair stylist. Beautiful, straight hair has never been so easy.

Ugh I wish it was as easy as they say. I have such thick long hair it seems to take forever.

Nice step by step instructions. A good heat protective spray is also good, or if you don't like using those, then deep condition your hair twice a week to prevent severe damage.
