I have been on birth control pills for about 11 years now. My skin was wonderful, i had the occasional breakout and the occasional painful under the skin pimples. I have discontinued the pill for about 6 months now and i have constant acne. I have little red bumps all over my forehead chin and my temples. Sometimes they have a white tip sometimes they are under the skin and are just bumpy. I am 30 years old and this is driving me nuts any recommendations? Products? Treatments? Anything besides giving up and going back on the pill?

Sounds like your body is in over drive. There are several products for you to try like ProActive or Acne Free. Both do not require a prescription and are readily available at stores. Acne Free has a lower price tag than ProActive. Another option is to see a Dermatologist who can run blood work to see if it is hormone related and they can then prescribe something more effective if need be.

I can completely relate to your problem with acne. I am 34 and have stopped using my birth control as well and soon after my acne flared up worse than when I was a teenager. I have tried practically everything, I tried Acne Free worked for a while but after a few months my skin seemed to be resistant. I have found that Mario Badescu products work best for me. The acne control kit used with the healing and soothing mask has resulted in an amazing transformation of my skin. Usually with most acne products my skin would break out while adjusting to the new product but after using Mario Badescu Drying Mask the first time I noticed an improvement. If you go to http://mariobadescu.com you can fill out a questionnaire and they will suggest products for you to use. They will also send you an email asking if you want to receive free samples. The samples are pretty big and lasted me two weeks so that I could see if they would work for me before making a purchase. Good luck!
