(I started this topic)

Should celebrities get paid millions of dollars to endorse beauty products? Does this make you want to buy the product more?

It used to influence me and make me buy something. But reality finally sank in, as I told myself no one is going to look like Halle Berry if you buy this product. Not even plastic surgery will do it! LOL Even the models in the ads get professional makeup artists applying their makeup, a professional photographer taking their picture and airbrushing if necessary. What everyday woman can look like that? :-)

I now buy what I truly think will work for me, whether it has an endorsement or not. :-)

Why I have to buy something because is advertised from celebrity?! Why the companies paid millions for that people who have more than enough money?! That money can be used for so many good things. We are living in a crazy world..................
I know some that advertised for example anti-aging products and after they just put botox or did a plastic surgery? The thing that I do is reading the ingredients and deciding what is good what not for me.

Celebrity endorsements don't influence my decision as to whether or not I'm going to buy something. I decide to buy something because I want to use it, not because so-and-so is endorsing it.
