(I started this topic)

I just dyed my hair red,and i heard that the color red fades really fast. So i was wondering what shampoo and conditoner is good for making the color last longer and keeps it looking nice and vibrant?

I'm also a bottle-redhead. Brands I've used and like are Garnier Fructis for Color-Treated hair and Herbal Essences Color Me Happy. Neither of those kill my hair color. One brand to stay away from is Aussie. Their products, especially their 3 Minute Miracle conditioner, kill my hair color.

I have light browned hair. Few days back i applied brown color rather than red. Now it's looks good and shiny under sun rays. Presently i am using pantene shampoo to wash my hair. I am happy with the result. The color has been same as i have in the beginning days. I hope it will match you.

I would recommend getting a red shampoo. Like Paul Mitchell Colorplay Red Shampoo
Paul Mitchell Color Infusing Colorplay Shampoos will maintain your hair color until your next color appointment! Just use once or twice a week after a first shampoo with any Paul Mitchell shampoo. Just leave on for one to seven minutes and your hair color is refreshed! Prevents fade and helps to maintain shiny hair color! Red for dark red, burgundy and intense reds.
There is quite a few product lines that carry RED SHAMPOOS. If you don't want to go the professional route you can try John Freida's Red shampoo too.

Remember to only but your professional hair care products from a salon. The products found in grocery stores, drug stores or on the internet are either diverted, stolen, old, tampered with or counterfeit. The only way to guarantee professional salon product is genuine is to buy it at a professional hair salon or beauty supply where professional salon services are offered.
