I have ance scars and I have never used blush before because some one long ago told me that since I have scars I should not wear blush. Now that I am older I feel I need a little something to give me some color. What is your opinion?

Although there are products to lessen the scarring caused from acne, I would say, if I thought I needed the color on my face, no matter what anyone said, I would use it! A little bronzer or a light touch of pink on your cheeks can make your face look sun kissed! So go for it!

I would definately wear blush. It just gives you the nice fresh appearance, no matter if you have acne scars, acne or other skin problems. I also love to sweep a little blush on my upper eyelids and little bit outward....
blush definately does wonders!

I dont think that it should effect your scars. If you want to wear blush wear it. Make sure you moisturize and use a primer and a foundation. http://www.naloinc.com

Why would they say you "should not" wear it? That's their opinion. If you want to do it, then try a little first and see how you like it. I've seen stuff at the drugstore that claims to minimize the appearance of scars. Unfortunately, I did not notice the name of it. It seemed to be some kind of ointment.

I agree another member who said use foundation first. If you don't wear foundation though, I think just go for it. A little color might actually work as a distraction from the scars, just like it can be for dark undereye circles.

Blush...always blush! You can always use concealers to cover up your scarring. And even if you don't do that and leave your scars exposed...still use blush. It won't make your scars stand out any more or less...but it will give your face a pretty flush and that is always attractive.
