Here is my situation, I'm hoping since everyone on here seems excited about beauty products, someone will give me a little advice! :) Sadly enough based on the title of my post, I'm not a 12 year old girl lol, I'm in my early 20s and will be graduating from college in 4 months. I'm applying to grad schools and also looking for a more 'grown up job' (I've been working retail through most of college) and I wear basically no make up. I don't think I look entirely terrible, but I would like to look a little more polished and put together since I am leaving behind the wonderful jeans and tshirts college world for the 'real world.' Any suggestions for starting points for my new and hopefully improved look? Thanks for reading! :)

just remember less is better.when you have time play around with different colors to see what looks best on you and ask your friends what they use. i am 34 and the only makeup i wear is mineral foundation and lip gloss. i dont wear eye makeup because it bothers me but thats ok. one thing i would suggest is to use a primer. your makeup will look better and last longer. i would also look at some magazines for ideas. just have fun and hope this helped.

Congratulations on graduating from college. I believe less is more, so I would suggest to wear eye liner, mascara, blush, lip gloss, and eyeshadow one color on your lid. Since you work retail, not sure where, visit the cosmetic counter and get at consultation.
