Black Eyeliner Help [ The One I Have Melts and Smudges ]

I need to know a good eyeliner product to buy. The one I have now is black by Palladio which I bought from Sally's. It used to work well until now. Within an hour after I put it on, my eyes looks as if someone had punched me and I have 2 black eyes. I only put the eyeliner on my upper eyelid and it melts down underneath my eyes. (I work at Marshalls I don't know why any of the associates or customers didn't tell me)

Here is one for you - Shiseido's cream eye liner. It comes in a pot with it's own brush. It's water proof, sweat resistant and won't budge on the skin after it sets. I use this one and love it. Other ones seem to smear or disappear on my skin especially when I rim the inner lid. It takes a little practice to get a fine line, but you can get several different looks with it. If you want a black eyeshadow, this is the one since you can smudge it on the eye lid for a very smokey look that won't move. I hope this solves your problem. I've also tried Chanel's water proof liner but it didn't stay on very long.

I have a waterproof black pencil from Urban Decay that works awesome. Prior to finding that one I also had racoon eyes every day no matter what I tried. I normally only use it on my upper lids and have had no issues.

My suggestion try a waterproof eyeliner or a cake liner or liquid they tend to stay on longer than if you use a pencil liner. Nalo Jones professional makeup artist and beauty expert based in Los Angeles, view web site at httjp://www.nalonc.com

I have a few suggestions: 1) Maybelline Ultra Wear - it is a liquid liner that's waterproof. 2) A gel liner like Bobbi Brown's Ink gel liners or MAC's Fluidline. 3) MAC Engraved pencil. Never moves.

To add to my post, you can also get an eyeliner sealer. It makes anything waterproof, there also a lot of waterproof liner on the market, this stuff really works, but best to use with a powder shadow that you mix to make your liner.

I have bad allergies (which means really watery eyes) and have never had a problem with Bobbi Brown's gel eyeliner running. I don't like Bobbi's eyeliner brush though, I prefer the one from Sephora.

Try MAC liquid eyeliners. Once they dry the stay put!
