Is e.l.f. worth a try or is it just another cheap brand?

After winning a $10 online gift certificate for e.l.f. products I used it for a set of lip glosses and mineral blush, all which arrived yesterday. While I was hoping the gloss would have a little more color, I did like how well it moisturized my lips and was surprised how long it lasted. When it comes to the blush, a little goes a long way. However, I was pleasantly surprised that I've finally found a blush that lasts all day.

I have just recently started using ELF cosmetics. I am addicted! Not everything is great, but most of the things I have tried, I have ordered, again. The mascara flaked pretty bad. I love, love, love the All Over Cover Stick (foundation). It lasts a long time, and blends in pretty well. I also tried their Shielding Hydro Tint (tinted moisturizer). I like it, but it doesn't last very long. I tried their concealer and didn't like it because it was slightly shimmery. So, it seemed to draw MORE attentiont othat area. I like the lip balms. They go on smoothly. The products are extremely affordable since everything is around $1. And, most of their products ahev a nice, light, citrus-type scent. I am still testing their products. but, overall, very much worth it!

Actually elf is pretty good and very reasonable, since most things start at a $1. The brushes are really good for the price..except don't buy the $1 foundation brush..it's no good. The eyeshadows, lip glosses are great. I have not tried other stuff like mineral makeup. I have a really hard time matching foundation so I have to stick with Mac, or Revlon for that. But it's worth the try and they are always having some kind of promotion. Sign up for email promos, you get one like everyday!! Shipping kind of takes awhile, but it's worth the wait. Hope this helps.
