(I started this topic)

Can anything actually make cellulite better or disappear for good (besides going under the knife)? I know they say creams only work for a short period of time and that if you cut everything except fruit and veggies from your diet that's supposed to help as well.

I think I've heard that you can do just about all you want, but ultimately it comes down to genetics. That's why you'll see some thin girls with cellulite and some large girls without it.

Yeah, I believe it is hereditary too. I have a healthy diet (most of the time, heehee), I have never been overweight, and I am still in my teens and I have embarrassing cellulite. Not fair.

Yes, cellulite is all in the genes. I personally don't think you should get stressed from your cellulite--over 97% women/teens have it, and a lot of them don't seem to mind. We should really except cellulite as a natural part of us. And yes, I have a lot of cellulite, but no one seems to point it out and laugh and I don't get stressed about it.

If it's really that embarrassing to you, eat a very healthful diet. If you're a really good artist, you can actually hide it with the right makeup. I've heard of people taking concealers, cream and spray foundations, and also powders to camouflaging the cellulite. I don't know how effective this is, though.

Hope this helps.
