(I started this topic)

I'm addicted to the very dramatic, volume-packed, and lengthy look. I've been using Estee Lauder, but it really hasn't been making the cut for me. Mascara is the one product I don't feel guilty splurging on, so after careful review of the site reviews, I've narrowed it down to the Chanel, Lancome, and Dior brands. The problem is that I have no idea what to lay down my cash on. Any suggestions?

Hi. Everywhere I look, it seems like the Dior Show gets the best reviews. I have stick straight lashes and have been wanting to try it, but not sure if it will work, nothing does and I hate to spend the money, but then again I can return it. There are two different ones, one with a bigger brush and one with a smaller brush. I like the smaller brushes. I usually stick to the mayebelline in the pink tube with green top for $4, like I said NOTHING works, so maybe I will give this one a shot too. Ok, rambled on, good luck!

Diorshow (not the Blackout or Limited one though) is the best I have ever used. I've recommended it to a bunch of people, and everyone has loved it.

I'm a Diorshow fan. However, I've also discovered Make Up For Ever's Lash Fibers, which is like a mascara base, and it pumps up just about any mascara out there. Combined with Diorshow, it's amazing.

Another mascara that I've recently tried and seems promising is Too Faced Lash Injection. It's one of those kinds that actually forms tubes on your lashes, and stays on forever.

Good luck!

Lancome,lancome,lancome!!!
Just go to their site, and you'll be able to see all of their mascara's compared. The new one, black carat, is supposed to lengthen, volumize and curve at the same time. I haven;t tried that one yet,but the others are awesome!

Bourjois Volume Clubbing in Ultra Black. Be prepared to use your lash comb, and get a heavy duty eye makeup remover after, but it give my lashes the most dramatic look without false eyelashes.

Maybelline great lash if you're strap for money or Dior if you can splurge a little, both should work greatly.

I ran right out and bought the Dior show and was very disappointed. I did not feel it lived up to it's hype, whatsoever. YSL's mascara in the gold tube is a lovely splurge. Recently tried Benefit's Bad Gal and found the brush too cumbersome...SOOOO
it's back to my tried and true FAV...Covergirls Lash Exact in the purple tube. The brush is tidy and clean, no clumping, my lashes long long and full...I should remember to stay loyal to this one...it's a winner!!!

I love L'Oreal's Carbon Black Telescopic mascara. The brush isn't like other brushes and the price is reasonable.
