Are you sick of everyone saying how great your hair is supposed to look at the end of a beach day? Like it is all highlighted and wavy and perfectly touseled looking? I am only saying I am sick of it because not everyone's hair looks perfect after a beach day. Actually...if you have naturally curly, dry hair that frizzes in humidity, your hair tends to look it's absolute worst at the end of a beach day. It seems this "beachy hair" look is only for girls with straight hair and the salt and humid air actually gives them a little bend. I feel like there is a curly hair prejudice out there! What do you think?

I know what you mean, I have very frizzy hair. I don't even pay attention to the "beachy hair" ads and products because it doesn't pertain to me. Besides, it's a summer trend so it won't last much longer...or at least until next summer.

Oh, definitely. Those of us with curly hair know that the whole "beach hair" thing is for girls with straight hair. My frizzy curly hair looks absolutely horrific after a few hours at the beach.

I have naturally wavy hair that looks beachy ... when I first get to the beach. But by the end of the day, it looks awful, full of sand and really dry feeling. I don't get what the hype is about.
