I have very fine curly hair & have been doing the Japanese hair straightening for the past 3 years, but now I want to stop. I haven't done it since last December, & I've also colored my hair 3 times in the last 12 months. My hair is EXTREMELY dry & DULL. Does anyone know what I can use to give it some shine??? Nothing seems to work...Thanks for any suggestions! ;-)

I have coarse hair that rarely, if ever, has any natural shine to it. I use two things to help: Ojon's hair treatment, which is a pre-shampoo treatment, and it's fantastic. It's pricey, but one container of it will last you a long time; Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny gloss. This is just a serum that you apply sparingly to dry hair to give it shine. There are lots of products like this out there - both high end and drugstore. Honestly, I've had great luck with both types, and wouldn't spend a lot of money on this.
