So I saw the infomercial for Wen and decided to research it on here. Here is where I saw a few people suggest HairOne from Sally's saying it was the same thing for way cheaper. Since Sally's is about 5 minutes from my house, I took off to my mission. Once there, I picked up the one for color treated hair for $9.99 and also a wide-toothed comb for $0.69. I figured I would try that since Wen recommends it. I came home and immediately got in the shower. The tingling on your scalp is wonderful, like a minni day at the spa for your scalp. Anyway, I used about 35-40 pumps since my hair is pretty long. All was well....still tingling. I rinsed for about 3 minutes and started to panic. My hair felt like a brillo pad. OMG.....what should I do???? I continued rinsing and decided to step out of the shower anyway. I used 1.5 pumps at the ends of my hair since the product suggested it and waaaalllaaaa. All the tangles came out. Ladies and gentleman.......this product is amazing!!!!! I blow-dried my hair as usual and immediately noticed less fly aways. It was also very soft and manageable. I should also disclose that I live in Florida. It has been raining here for the past two weeks which means humidity is at 100%. I went about my day without adding any other product. That night I actually went to the Wing House to watch the basketball game and sat outside in pure humidity. This amazing product reduced my frizzies about 85%. Ahhhhhh,,,,, I love it. I recommend it 100%. I will post again in a couple of weeks to see if the product is still working its magic.

I am interested in getting Wen hair care system soon. My hair is just recovering from being over-processed. It's medium textured and relaxed/chemically straightened hair. My basic hair problems are lack of moisture, thickness(which i try to make sleeker), dull shine, and fly aways. My goal is to have softer, more manageable, shiny, LONGER hair with wen. I hear some people say "Hair One" is better but I still want to buy Wen. I typically wear my hair straight, I always blow-dry it, and occasionally flat iron it. Does anyone think wen is for me or am I wasting my money? (which i tend to do a LOT).

I to wondered about the Wen Haircare line but did not want to waste my money on something that did not work . I read the reviews and saw where some people recommended the Hair One. So I went and got some. I love it. If you want a shampoo that does not dry or weigh down your hair give it a try. You don't have to wait on it to come in or pay shipping. Also, you can get three of the Hair One for what you pay for one bottle of the Wen.

For those of you who use WEN and / or Sally's HAIR ONE - how often do you use the products? I try to wash my hair every other day as directed by my stylist. Do you use these products the same way? I still wet my hair and blow it dry even on the days I do not wash it - I have to. I have shoulder length hair that is very fine. I have some highlights along with a low-light glaze.

Any info or suggestions is greatly appreciated!

DON'T DO IT!!!!!
I was also a VICTIM of high pressure sales. I consider myself a pretty wise shopper, but boy was I mistaken. I purchased the 30 day trial online and received the product. I have very curly hair and I really didn't see a difference in the frizziness. I gave it a good try and found that it didn't work for me. My hair was weighed down, but just as frizzy as normal. So it didn't work. I was out a few bucks and that was that....Here is the SCAM...I was totally un-aware that by purchasing that simple trial selection; I was then "automatically" registered for their little "club". I was balancing my checkbook today online and to my dismay I was charged $195.00 for my "membership" to continue to receive product. I went off the deep end. I called to "dispute" this charge and they were helpful, but kept pressuring me to continue with their product. Upon reading a couple other posts, I am afraid that I am going to run into the same problem as other people. This type of sales may not be illegal, but it should be. No where does it ask you if you want more product automatically sent to you. Why would you choose that before ever using the product? Once...shame on them. Chaz Dean and Guthry are crooks if they support this type of business.

I tried the Sally's version--loved it! I have wavy, shoulder-length,med-thick, color-treated w/ highlights & live in high heat & humid part of TX. left my hair soft, shiny & less frizzy. One & a half dollars is not much to try a mini miracle.

Read the reviews about Wen and decided to take the advice of the other women in the forum. I purchased Hair One from Sally's and followed the directions very carefully. Well, ladies this is the best shampoo or whatever one wants to call it. My hair looks and feels amazing! I keep stopping to admire my shiny smooth locks in every mirror in the house. Fab product hands down and no need to waste time, money and hastle with some marketing scam of an organization - I can just drive to Sally's.

I am so irritated with this company. I first tried the product about 1 1/2 ago, did not work for me, so I called to cancel. They told me they would ship me out the cucumber formula and that it would work for me. Well it didn't!!! So I called to cancel and returned the box they sent me which was in February, which I returned and cancelled my membership. Just a few days ago they sent me another box, I called to tell them it was their mistake and that I have already cancelled my membership. They also said that if I was going to return the product I would have to pay shipping and handeling fees. That this was not there fault because they have nothing in the records showing that I cancelled. So now I have to fight with my credit card company to reverse the charges.

Be very aware of this company, they will continue to force you to receive shipments!!!!!!!!!!!!

To those of you who are having problems with Guthy Renker, I work for a bank in the merchant disputes department and have seen too many issues like this to even try and count them. Companies like this can be a nightmare for consumers, so here's what you need to do to protect yourself. Every time you talk to GR, note the date, time, who you spoke with, and what was said. Print a copy of your phone bill showing that you placed these calls to cancel with them. If possible, also write a letter canceling and keep a copy. Send it certified if you have to. Send an email and keep a copy of that too, if you are able to email them. If you have to pay to send your products back, keep the receipts. The point is to have as much documentation as possible to prove that you canceled so GR can't keep charging you and "not finding" your cancellation in their records.

If you call your bank or credit card company and to file a claim for the money GR continues to debit after you've canceled, it's very likely that your claim will be denied (and you'll be out the money) if you don't have any sort of documentation, and shady companies like GR know this. So keep every kind of documentation you can possibly think of, even if you think it's overkill, because without it you won't have a leg to stand on. You'll just have a lifetime supply of Wen that you don't want. Good luck.
