I just saw an infomercial about the Wen hair care products. It looks promising, I have very thin hair that I have to wash daily because it gets oily quick. When I wash, or comb my hair it breaks. I've tried several kinds of shampoo a lot of seems to help at first and then stops. I was wondering if any of you have tried the Wen products, I would like to get some input before I forgo the expense. I hate the oily, slick feel that I get when my hair isn't clean. Since the product doesn't lather, does it really clean your hair, or does it make it feel greasy? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks!

I ordered the 6oz bottle of the sweet almond mint cleaning conditioner from Naturallycurly.com. So after it arrives (I can't wait!) I'll post my results on here so that if anyone else wants to know about it, it can give them some info. I wanted to get the offer from the wen hair care website but I was afraid that if I didn't like it, then I would be stuck with all that product. This way, I get a chance to test it out, with out a huge commitment. So, we will see.....

My Wen finally came in this morning. I got the 6 oz Sweet Almond Mint. I couldn't wait to use it! I read the directions first so that I had somewhat of a clue what to do. I rinsed my hair and made sure it was saturated completely. Then I started to pump the product into my hand. The pump was giving me trouble, every 5-6 pumps, I would get one pump of product. GRRRRRRRRR very frustrating! After a few seconds it started to work properly. Needless to say I have no clue how many pumps it took. I worked it through my hair making sure I massaged my scalp and my ends were saturated. I could feel the tingle in my scalp. It was glorious! The smell was nice, not too overpowering. I used my wide tooth comb to make sure it was evenly distributed. When I was done with my shower, I rinsed my hair and because a lot of the reviews I read said that their hair felt oily when it dried, I used my wide tooth comb to make sure I got all of it out. It felt kinda icky, not soft like some of the other people had wrote. On the bottle it says you can add a pump or two to your damp hair for an added conditioner. I skipped this step because I didn't want it to be oily or heavy. I ran my wide tooth comb though my damp hair and it kept snagging. At this point, I'm not too happy. =( I let it air dry in hopes that it would get better. When totally dry, my hair felt soft, but still looked a little fizzy. I have naturally wavy hair that is very, very thin. Basically my hair looked the same as usual with maybe some more shine. It was clean however, that was another one of my concerns, of how can a conditioner clean my hair? I decided not to give up on it, maybe I didn't do it right, or maybe 2nd times the charm. I would say on a scale of 1 to 10 it would be maybe a 4. Well, I tried it again tonight. I used 16 pumps, it fully saturated my hair and I used my comb to evenly distribute it. After my routine I rinsed out my hair, this time not using my comb and my hair felt better, this time soft, not icky. When I towel dried my hair, I used 1/2 of a pump, rubbed it on my ends and then the rest of my hair. When combing my damp hair, it didn't snag at all and still felt soft and smooth. Much better than the 1st time. After it dried completely it was much better than when I used it earlier. My hair is soft and shinier, my frizz is better, but not totally under control. I think with this product it's a matter of trial and error, I just have to find out what works for me. It definitely feels clean and my scalp is still a little tingly from it, I like it. On a scale from 1 to 10, I give it an 7. So, we'll see what tomorrow brings! I'm not quite sure about this product, It cleans well, smells nice, and my hair is nice and soft. I just hope it does better on my fly a way hair. I have read a lot of reviews about Wen, and it seems to 50/50 on how people like it. I've read that it's the best thing since sliced bread, and on the opposite side how they totally hate it. I think it's all a matter of preference, I guess you just have to try it to see how it works on your own hair. Hope this helps for anyone that is looking to try this product.

Hi, I live in Florida where the weather is hot and humid. My hair is colored and needs special care every time I wash it. I also have some frizz because I have natural curls. So I thought I will give WEN a try and see what it does, since all the celebrities who use it have great looking hair. The first time I used it I thought it looked more smooth. Then I used it every other day and now my hair is to a point where I don't have frizz anywhere and it is more manageable without any other stuff I put into it. I use the WEN styling cream with 2 pumps and blow dry it or just let it air dry with my curls. I have to say I spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on hair stylists and products. This product is a 12 out of 10.

I ( like everyone else) was up early on a saturday morning, and saw the commerical. My brother in law is a cosmotologist and so naturally I called him to find out if it was known to be a good product. He said he had heard good things, but had not used it personally.
