(I started this topic)

Does anyone in total beauty land know of a good effective hair removal cream that doesn't cause a harsh skin reaction. I tried Nair and I have a fabulous patch of red speckles on my leg. It is fading and doesn't bother me, but are there any alternatives to shaving or (gasp) waxing?

That's actually from what I know a common reaction to Nair. Be happy its just red speckles and not full on chemical burns!

I'm with you though, I'm sick of shaving so I bought some Nair for sensitive skin to try out and see how it works for me. I can't afford waxing at a salon, but have thought about doing it at home.

I know there are also the Epilators, I think retrodiva said she used one.

I do, and I love it. If you decide to invest in one, make sure to get a good one. Getting one that hurts too much won't be effective because you'll never use it! :)

I know there are a few people out there using the No! No! device and are seeing good results with it. I actually have one but haven't had the patience to see if it actually works.
