(I started this topic)

I'm wondering if anyone knows of anything good out there for taming frizzies when the humidity gets bad. I live in SC, and I'm having my wedding in August. I'm wearing my medium length hair down and wavy.

I love, love, love schwarzkopf Bonacure Moisture Kick Spray! It is a good leave in conditioner, and that is what I generally use it for. But it works well too as a frizz taming spray on dry hair (just don't over spray it). Here is my blog review of it.

Fekkai makes a glossing cream that I like using on dry hair as well.

Ama,
I am in SC too. I have found that a small drop of Chi Silk Infusion (and I mean small) really helps with the humidity.

I'm not having a humidity problem right now -- still under snow in the Midwest -- but when I do, I use Aveda Light Elements Smoothing Fluid.

Oh man, humidity! I could write a book about how much I hate it and it hates me. :) The one item I seriously can't live without is the T3 Medium Duality Flat Iron. In horrible 90-degree weather, in rainstorms or in intense fog, my hair is sleek and shiny! I know it's expensive but it is SERIOUSLY the best investment I've ever made.

A good serum with silicones should do the trick. Humidity makes the hair strands puff up with moisture, so a silicone based product should lock in the hair's natural moisture and block off humidity.

Anything that says 'anti-humectant' is a godsend when fighting humidity! I particularly like BioSilk Silk Therapy - just a tiny bit. There's also a product called Beyond Straight (by the makers of the maxiglide) and if you straighten your hair, this stuff works really well and keeps out frizz all day long - seriously.

I love the Ouidad Heat & Humidity Gel - - it keeps my frizzies away!! But the trick is how to apply it and how much to use.

My favorites are BioSilk Silk Therapy and Paul Mitchell's Glossing Serum. I heard that John Frieda had a new line out that was supposed to help with humidity (I live in Virginia Beach, the humidity here is soul-crushing), but I haven't tried it yet.

Paul Mitchell the Super Skinny Serum works wonders! You don't need a lot of the product and it doesn't feel greasy. I tried Garnier Fructis smoothing milk as well for a cheaper option, but found it leaving my hair feeling sorta funky, but that could be my hair since it is really thin
