(I started this topic)

Can someone offer an alternative to Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2? It works well on my skin, but looking for a cheaper alernative.

I use Nivea Visage Alcohol-Free toner. It's about $5-$6 and works great. It doesn't strip my skin or make it feel tight like most toners.

I'll second Mario Badescu. I will only use Clinique or Mario! Love them and they have great customer service (and always send little goodies to try)! But I don't know if they're necessarily less expensive. So worth it though...

clean&clear cooling daily pore toner! has sodium pca, glycolic and salicylic acid, and feels cool on hot days. keeps my flaking and peeling to a minimum. cuts down on the greasiness too. cheap! i think 3$....i buy it once a week, lol! it does have alcohol.
you can also get a good alcohol free toner from neutrogena, it has the sodium pca too, and panthenol. its very gentle if you cant stand the burn of alcohol, or have dry skin, i think that one runs 5-6$.

I have been using this for years..THAYER's ALCOHOL-FREE WITCH HAZEL in either, CUCUMBER, LAVENDER or ROSE. It is very soothing and not drying because there is no alcohol. www.thayers.com Good Luck with your search, I think its half the fun!

Neutrogena. I adore all their face products, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I love anything by Neutrogena. Their products are mild, so they don't irritate skin and are inexpensive. I've been using the Pore Minimzing toner for years and it's great! And it's under $10.

Origins. It's natural. Perfect World toner. It has white tea in it for a great antioxident, smells amazing and is a cheaper alternative. I hear people talking about Clinique, but when they dont want a clinique product they come to us at Origins. I absolutely adore this toner.
