arms: i have hairy arms that i started shaving, but it don't look good. at all. should i grow it out on my trip to nyc (so sneaky) or should i use some other product or something?

moustache: ok, so i have some upper lip hair. waxing hurts really bad, but i don't mind going back, its just my mom doesnt want to pay for it. i REFUSE to shave, cuz that is wat she wants me to do. i used this hair buffer thing, but on my very LAST strip it made me break out. great. wat should i do???

If you want some serious hair removal, you should probably pay for it yourself, shouldn't you? Everything other than shaving will cost you, whether it's waxing, threading, or removal creams and stuff like that. Beyond that, there's laser hair removal, but that gets really pricey.

The best options for your face are waxing and threading, IMO, and waxing might be best for your arms as well - either that, or try a razorless cream like Veet; it lasts a bit longer than shaving and feels smoother, looks better, etc. It's fairly cheap too. It smells terrible, kind of like Nair, but that's hard to avoid.

I have no idea about areas like your stomach, though. I don't think shaving is the best method.

I'd recommend a Nair/Neet/etc hair removal cream both for your upper lip (Sally Hansen makes a good one for the face) and your stomach. Works well on the bikini line, too.

You might also consider an epilator - they can be painful the first time you use it, but you quickly get used to it, and it's not so bad. I use one for my legs and bikini area.

Some people swear by the No! No! device at Sephora. I have one, but I haven't used it consistently enough to really recommend it. I can say that it temporarily removes hair, but I can't say whether or not it does the job at keeping it from coming back. I need to get serious with that.

Good luck!

VEET for sensitive skin, it comes in a blue container. It works very well and it doesn't irratate the skin I have used it!
