Hi, Actually I am trying to be wiser before I purchase a beauty product and have been very interested in reading the reviews about products on this website, before purchasing any product. I have found if I discipline myself to checking first, then buying, it is eliminating the "impulse spending" which I really had to do something about anyway. So, yes, I guess the economy has helped curtailing my wasteful spending and focus more on quality, not quantity. I know my husband would approve if he had a clue what I had been doing vs what I am really trying to do now :) .

I see how women are purchasing less at the department stores and what they do purchase they try and make it last longer than normal. As for myself, I'm trying to curb my impulse buying of cosmetics by looking at cheaper brands when it comes to non essential items (fad colors). The one thing I will not cut back on would be my facial creams - serums, lotions and softners. If you skin is in good condition, then you will not need to use a lot of cosmetics to cover it. The products will be used to enhance it so you'll need less.
