(I started this topic)

Hey, I'm a newbie here!
I'm a 22 year old student and beauty lover =]
Soon my university will be ending, and I will be moving out from my parents house, so I'll be on even more of a budget.
Affordable and natural makeup is high on my priorities... so I'm learning how to budget..
Plus, my blog is filled with natural beauty tips but it's still new-ish, so i'm looking for tips =]

Haha, i am a newbie on here as well and i just like you have a strict budget when it comes to makeup. If you find out some tips i would love for you to share. I am so poor, lol. I barely ever buy makeup but when i do i can never seem to buy stuff that i like for more then a day. It looks good in the package but once i get it on, it just doesnt seem as nice looking, lol. I dont know maybe you have some tips for me or someone else gave you some. Hope to talk to you soon.

When you are on a budget, try to look for items that can have multiple uses. Blushes that can be used as lip color and eye shadow. Also, some cheap ways to get around skin care would be to use mineral oil as a remover for eye makeup, diaper wipes for makeup remover/cleanser. I also like, when I was in a pinch, to use baby wash for my face. I know of people who use lipstick as blusher and mascara as liner for their eyes. You can find great deals at dollar stores and check the discontinued aisles at other stores. If you tire of a color, put it in the back of the drawer. That way, you can rediscover it later and it will seem like "new".
