(I started this topic)

I don't have the patience for the Jergens get-a-little-tan-every-day stuff... It takes like a week (tho it seems to deliver nice color once it finally gets there).

Has anyone else tried this Banana Boat Summer Color Sunless Lotion?

Wow it delivers a lot of color... Now I just need someone to tell me if I'm one of those "She's wearing too much self-tanner" chicks.

Anyone tried this / what are your results?
Or what good self-tanners should I be trying?

I don't have any recs for good self tanners as I am one for keeping out of the sun but have you seen benefit's new talk to the tan?

I was about to blog it today!

Hiya Muse!

I was curious about that one too!

I think I'm going to go the drugstore route and pick up Nivea's Sun-Kissed moisturizer or this other Jergen's one I just read about.

Let me know what you try!

I like the L'Oreal Sublime Glow but it doesn't smell that great so I only use it at night before bed. I discovered Boots Botanics gradual tanner from Ms. Beauty Addict and it's great for day. It doesn't have a strong scent, is thin and easy to smooth on and never streaks.

I am an enthusiast of St. Tropez self-tanning products. I am as pale as a ghost and have been using self-tanning products for years. St. Tropez has been the one I return to time after time.

I'm testing the new Clinique one, which is a gradual tanner, but so far I'm not orange so that's a plus for me! (I'm really really fair and cool-complected, so even the new generation of self-tanners go orange on me way too easily) I'll post on my blog in a few days with the week-end results of the test.

On the same topic. Anyone tried mystic tan? My mom suggested I do it before my wedding (I'm almost as white as my dress). But I'm super paranoid about turning orange or looking fake.

Ama, a friend swears by the Mystic Tan and she is super pale.
I too am trying the new Clinique one, so far , so good. nice quick medium color, dries fast.
I like Lancome flash bronze gel as well. another quick drying one that gives instant bronze as well.

PS Ama, do get the Mystic a bit before the big day. you may be a bit too bronzed that first day , but it lasts a week.

The last time I went for a spray tan, by the time I reached the beach, I looked like a spotted leopard. I will give the Mystic a try. This pale body needs all the help it can get. Thanks for the tip.
