I'm thinking about getting a job with Origins but I'm not very familiar with their products. Thoughts?

Your best tool is the internet. Go to their website and read as much as you can. I don't think you have to be extremely familiar with any given product to get a job, as long as you demonstrate that you have the skills necessary and the ability to learn.

Origins is owned by Estee Lauder which is a great company to work for (I worked for Estee for 3 years). The orgins prodcuts are not my fave but you may like them. Ask for some samples at the cosmetics counter.

I love Origins and I used quite a few of their products for quite sometime....I bought myself their blush brush to treat myself the last time I got a raise...now I use it for my mineral foundation...it is so so soft...I love their products just got to be too pricey for me...so it would be a great place to work and get discounts...also, they are also very eco conscious which is very important to me and the earth. Good luck!!!

They guide you toward what you want, but if your not interested they don't press it. As far as the products they make skincare, bath stuff, and makeup. My favorites are the frothy face wash, halo effect illumiantor, and ginger souffle body cream. They are all very eco-conscious and contain natural ingredients. I also LOVE the ginger souflee body cream. It smells very "spa" like. It's so light and airy and it is just a lovely product. I can't remember what the exact name is, but they have a ginger souffle cream with gold irridescent flakes in it. It is a little more sparkly than the average "irridescent" lotion or body cream, but it is not like you are wearing glitter. It looks beautiful when you need something for a night out...
