For foundation, I'm totally into tinted moisturizers right now (with a little help from concealer). My fave for the past few months has been Sonia Kashuk; it feels similar to Laura Mercier but offers a tad more, slightly luminous coverage. (I've already converted two people!) I'm also hearing great things about AmorePacific but haven't tried it yet -- anyone? And though it's not a tinted moisturizer, I'm getting a lot of "great skin" compliments lately with Clinique's new Almost Powder Makeup, which is a breeze to apply. (Tends to cake a bit around blemishes though.)

Absolutely love the Bare Escentuals--could never imagine going back to a liquid foundation--even for on camera work--(hint: apply it with a make sponge instead of the brush for a more full coverage)

I've really been loving my Clinique Perfectly Real Makeup. It is by far the most lightweight stuff I've ever tried, but also provides excellent coverage.

As far as what I don't like...maybe I just don't have the skin for it, but I've tried several types of mineral make up and they didn't work half as well for me as magazines and television would lead me to believe.

Something that I'm neutral about. A few years ago, I used Cover Girl foundation and powder in one. I loved it...however like all cheap make up my skin didn't love it so much. I'd like to find something a bit better that is similar.

i actually think its overrated...i dunno to me it seems like such a process that it's not even worth it. i still havent found the perfect one, but right now i like the mousse foundations like rimmel cool matte. cheap too.

Studio Fix Fluid is great (by MAC), I think it's my best foundation tried to date.

Morgen Schick Hide and Highlight Palette

It's my holy grail! I seriously haven't used anything else for years and years! I don't need alot of coverage and this works great for brightening my face and making me look awake and very fresh!

I have tried every foundation on the market. As a woman in her 50s, I searched for a foundation that would moisturize, cover lightly, and not settle in the fine lines. The line issue was the biggest problem. I am an aficionado of Clinique's Supermoisture Makeup:
"Ultra-creamy yet refreshingly lightweight. Sheer-to-moderate coverage with continuous hydration. Dewy finish."
