I swear by the Origins drink up mask. The longer you leave it on the better. I swear my skin feels like baby smooth silk after and its not as heavy as putting on thick gunky creams because its a smooth lotion that you put on and then you can either wash off or leave it on for a while. I like to use it once a week to balance my skin. Don't forget to exfoliate so the flaky skin is gone and you are moisturizing the skin underneath :) you will have a healthy glow.

When I had super dry and sensitive skin, I used Vichy's S2 Moisturizer. Its made for dry sensiive skin and it worked great for me. this was at a time when EVERYTHING was making my skin worse.

I have dry skin (but its normal right now, thankfully) and for daytime I use LaRoche Posay Anthelios SX w/ SPF - you can buy it in the US at CVS or online. for night I use Mario Badescu Control Cream - but I would test it for allergy on a small part on your skin first. Balsam Peru can sometimes irritate people with very sensitive skin, but mine is somewhat sensitive & it doesnt bother me - its supposed to help Rosacea (so long as you're not allergic!) but I love it as my normal night cream. I also like CeraVe Cream or Lotion. good luck!! I love Anthelios as a sunscreen, but it made me break out. :(

For heavy moisturizing but a good reputation in terms of avoiding acne, I recommend Eucerin products. I haven't tried their heavier creams though. I like their sensitive skin lotion with SPF. I have also heard recommendations for Olay products for acne prone people.

Eucerin, Aveeno, Elizabeth Arden or Liz Earle. I'd be surprised if none of those worked on you. Good luck with it :-)

I love Anthelios as a sunscreen, too. A friend of mine had to bury her Anthelios in the cosmetic graveyard because it caused a rash and made her eyes water.

There are three moisturizers I've tried that haven't made my sensitive skin go haywire ... all are (sadly) not cheap at all but they really, REALLY work!

I've also been using Estee Lauder's DayWear Plus and I like it a lot too - smells nice like cucumbers (a plus!) I don't know if it's one for very dry skin, but it's a nice one.

I've heard a lot of good things about the Cetaphil Moisturizer. I personally *love* by NARS Aqua Gel and Boots No7 Advanced Hydration Day Fluid. I have dehydrated combination skin and my skin used to get really dry and flaky in the winter (I live in Chicago) but I swear these two products have completely turned my life around!
