Its bad enough to fight acne in your teens and early adult years but to also have to fight wrinkles and hyperpigmentation on top of that is a nightmare. I have suffered with acne and enlarged pores most of my adult life. Now i am in my mid thirties and the crepe dehydrated skin only makes your acne worse. Fine lines and old spots from where i had acne are my biggest problem. I have tried everything and now i am using Retin A. Hopefully this will kill two birds with one stone. I am a skincare junkie and have tried mostly everything. Does anyone have any advice?

Stress is usually the number one cause of acne in adult women; have you ever noticed that you usually have a break out at the worst times, like right before an important meeting or right before an event you're trying to plan? Besides being bad for your skin, it is also bad for your overall health, so you should definitely try to eliminate stress in your life. I'd suggest trying to get more sleep, drinking chamomile tea before you go to bed to help you sleep, or indulge in a relaxing bath every now and then. Most importantly, don't sweat the small stuff!

I totally agree! I have been researching skincare products for the last 10 years because of my own skincare problems. In the midst of this research i became obsessed with skincare, makeup and health. I am an aspiring Beauty Editor. I want to let people know what works and what doesnt. I have been so dissapointed in my quest to find the right skincare products along with spending a serious amount of money. I dont want people to be fooled by Marketing, pretty packaging and hype. i want to set it straight. Of course this is my opinion and what doesnt work for me might work for someone else. I have a Beauty blog if you would like to check it out and leave a comment expressing your opinion it would be greatly appreciated. The address is emanticoff.blogspot.com. Again i definetly agree with what you said about stress being the culprit.

Also, just so you know it's pretty common to have acne as an adult so you're definitely not alone!
