If you frequent the pages of TotalBeauty like me, there are a number of usernames (and people behind them) that you become very used to seeing and hearing from. Supernaturalfan, Miss vicky and Ama1221 are a few to come to mind. And in a way, I consider these and other ladies on this site as friends of mine. So if you are reading this post, how are you? What's new? Anything super happening in your life that is super exciting that you want to talk about? Or anything bumming you out that you want to get off your chest? Let's catch up =).

Hi Hanka,

Yeah, I do come across you guys a lot in a lot of the same topics. You're my beauty pals! I don't get on here but once in awhile now, as it's not user friendly, and no one from TB responds to the suggestions in that forum, or implements them.

For me, it's been a rough patch: Grief, unemployment, noisy neighbors......etc. Fun stuff, I know. :(

Glad you posted this, Hanka..This site has no way to "bookmark" the topics or threads you want to follow or the ones you even start, but I'm sure I won't forget this topic!

I will get on again when I feel better and have more time.

Oh, sorry to hear that =(! I wish all that weren't the case for you. But, I suppose if no one ever had problems they would have had very little chance to develop a strong character and endurance! I hope things start looking up for you! I know what you mean about noisy neighbors!
I don't get to go on here much anymore either. I had my baby and I've been back to work for a while. When I'm not busy with that I am making sure my husband's fed and the apartment's tidy! But life is good. My little boy is a great kid! Very happy and loves people. I have felt like I really dodged a bullet with him, very easygoing little guy (he was sleeping through the night at like, 2 months!).His name is Calvin.

Hi Girls -

I was searching the site and was happy to see an off topic subject. Congratulations hankatcar on the birth of your little boy! Enjoy these days. Now that my kids are well into their teens, I find missing when they were babies. While I hated giving birth, I loved being pregnant (until the last month when I lived in the ladies room.) I agree with with you supernaturalfan that this is a tough site for chats. I am getting ready to abandon TB and go back to chatting with my girlfriends on my personal e-mail (and eating, buying too much make-up and dieting.) I wish I was a size 10 again!

Glad to hear you're doing well, Hanka. I think getting on here more again could be a good distraction. But it's so slow & "overdesigned" that it will only load in a decent time on my boyfriend's computer. And I don't see him all the time, so....(Not that he's only good for a high-speed Internet connection, LOL)

I did suggest on Dear Total Beauty that they could implement an internal e-mail system, so you could send a message to a member "@totalbeauty.com". It is done on other sites, and it works just like any e-mail program, same features, etc. But only on this site. No response. :(

On that note, I hope you continue to get more responses, Hanka. Especially from "old-timers" like Miss Vicki and Darkly Dreaming. Guys, if you're reading this, please drop in! :)
