(I started this topic)

I live in the northeast part of the country so fall is here. With that I start to have a problem with the skin on my face and could use some advice and help. The skin around my eyes and in the corners starts to flake and I also have the same problem with the skin between my eyebrows. Everything I have tried so far does not seem to work. I put this cream, lotion, etc. on in the morning and by 10 a.m. the flaking is back. I put up with this all fall and winter long and as soon as the weather gets warmer boom it is gone again. I use Aquafor ointment on the areas at night before bed and that seems to help somewhat but using that during the day is not an option as it is messy and I wear glasses and it always seems to get on them. I have a friend that has this problem to and her doctor says it is a form of contact dermitis. Anyway can anyone recommend something that would work longer than a few hrs and does not cost a small fortune..some thing with an SPF of at least 15 in it. Thanks.

I use Aveda All Sensitive moisturizer... it's amazing. It's 30 dollars but the bottle is pretty big. It's light, makes my skin feel silky, and moisturizes really well. You can find it in certain salons or on the Aveda website. Good luck!

I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND ONE OF THE ORLANE CREAMS: ORLANE SUPER MOISTURIZING CONCENTRATE. WHEN I WAS IN COLLEGE, IN THE WINTER MY FACE WAS SO CHAPPED AND RAW FROM THE COLD WEATHER AND THE WIND. THE ORLANE WAS RECOMMENDED BY ONE OF THE COSMETIC BUYERS AT BLOOMINGDALES aAND I AM ETERNALLY GRATEFUL TO HER. TODAY, I WOULD RATHER STARVE THAN BE WITHOUT IT. IT IS EXPENSIVE BUT YOU ONLY NEED TO USE A LITTLE BIT AND IT'S REALLY WORTH THE MONEY!
