Clinique's burns a little, now I swear by Origins United State. clean face, and no burn.. plus I kinda like the smell

I love my toner! My regiment just doesn't feel complete unless I use toner, skin rever-upper and then a moisturizer. I use BeautiControl's Gold Skinlogics, it works well for me.

Toner is absolutely a necessary step for balancing or even treating the skin as mine does. I have oily skin which also needs a little assistance in exfoliating. My toner by Neutrogena (Pore Refining Toner)with alpha & beta hydroxy in it is just the extra step I need. I go over my face with it twice after washing....once to clear away any residue...especially in the oilier/blemish prone areas and a second time really leaving my skin wet with the product and allowing it to dry. I follow with with the Healthy Skin Face Lotion (also with Alpha Hydroxy)and this routine along with my cleanser works great! I notice that when using my toner, I do still see some dirt on the cotton pad sometimes. It's worth it to me to use...I don't care what the so called "experts" say.
