How to match lipliner and lipstick?

(I started this topic)

I have just begun wearing makeup and I am discovering the necessity of lipliner for my lips. How does one match the lipliner to the lipstick when they are not "paired" by the make up company? For example I currently use Wet n Wild's Berry Crush and Moody Mauve. Would anyone have any advice on which lipliner would work with these? And who makes a decent cheap clear liner just for keeping lipstick in place?

Thanks.

Hi -

Just came across your post. Your liner should match (as close as possible) your lipstick/gloss color. I have an assortment of Mabelline and Avon lipliners which are pretty cheap. When I can't match the color, I try to use a nude liner. Hope this helps. :)

A nice clear lip liner is Duwop's Reverse Lip Liner. Trace the outside of your lips and your lipstick will not budge or creep all day long.
