(I started this topic)

Forget Chanel and all the other expensive nail polishes: NYC "Skin Tight Denim" Creme for $2.99 works just as well. Just about any drugstore carries NYC Polish. For the record, some colors are only $1.99 in cost and the assortment is amazing!

I personally find that Maybelline polishes serve me well. I tried a Chanel polish once, and once was enough - I really wasn't impressed with it.

My favorites are NYC, Sinful Colors, and Sally Hansen. :) All easy on the wallet! Yay!

I've seen some great colors from Sally Hansen lately. Hasn't Tracy Reese been collaborating with them for her runway nailpolish colors?

How about Essie?

Essie is about the same price as OPI, isn't it? Not cheap in my book :) Haha.

I got some pretty cute Sally Hansen polish lately. I've noticed that it doesn't matter if I use expensive or cheap, it all lasts about the same.

My favorite nail polish brand is Nail Savvy. Love the wide variety of colors and they're reasonably priced too.

I never buy the expensive crap, lol. I think the cheaper stuff works just as well. NYC i think like you said is my favorite and they do have a nice assortment. I also sometimes use the bonnie bells . They sometimes have some nice colors in those little small bottles i think they are like what 99 cents. I dont know they are cheap, lol.

I love the Rimmel 60 Seconds nail polishes and the Sally Hansen ones in the square pots, don't know what the line is called -- but it works really well. What matters most to me when I buy nail polish is the brush; I like wide, flexible brushes (they're good for me because I'm not very good at applying polish and the wide brush makes it easier).
When I have extra money I'll buy OPI and Essie polishes, but I find the cheaper ones work almost as well. :)
