Hey everyone, i just wanted to talk about mascara. I love mascara, so i guess thats why i am starting it. So i was wondering what are your guy's favorite drugstore mascaras?

I'd still say my favourite mascara is Avon's Daring Curves - though you can't really buy that physically in a store!

L'Oreal Voluminous Masacara in Blackest Black. They re-formulated it to make it even less clumpy. So now I have long, full, defined lashes and NO clumps whatsoever! It's also water resistant so it's easy to remove but doesn't smudge, streak or smear throughout the day. My eye were watering a bit last night and my mascara stayed in place. I swear, I will never g back to expensive mascara when I can get this stuff for $7.50!

I'm not big on mascara because I haven't found a great one yet, but I'm going to start looking into suggestions here.

I'll tell you some that I did NOT like, though!

Maybelline Define-A-Lash... nothing else needs to be said, LOL.
L'Oreal Volume Shocking... very clumpy
Maybelline Intense XXL... very clumpy
Rimmel Magnif'eyes Mascara... lifts but not much else, IMO.

I haven't given up yet, though; mascara and I are just taking a little time apart. :)

I like L'Oreal Voluminous. It does a good job adding length and giving lift. It does flake some, but it's so much cheaper than higher-end mascaras that I'm willing to put up with it!

This one gets my vote as well. I've found the waterproof mascara doesn't seem to flake as bad. I bought a new tube a couple of days ago and I got a few compliments on my lashes today.

A couple of days ago I had a small eye infection/irritation. Wasn't sure which, but I had a sample of Clinique Lash Doubling Mascara. I will reiterate what so many others before me have said. $$$$ does not equal quality. By the end of the day, that stuff was flaking and melting off my eyelids.

I just looked at my mascara. It's L'Oreal's Voluminous Naturale. They tok the already awesome Voluminous and made it even better. Can't stop raving about this $7.50 miracle mascara!

Another Loreal Voluminous girl here! I also like Cover Girls Volume Exact. I have kind of a silly question though: I do my hair after my makeup is finished, and after I get done blow drying, my eyelashes aren't as curled up anymore. They are kind of flattened. I know I could just wait until after I blow-dry to put on my mascara, but I just wanted to know if this happens to anyone else?

Can anyone advise which mascara to use when wearing contacts? I find that a lot of the time tiny little specks end up clouding and irritating my eyes. I do like something that is volumizing en curling.
