Great Bras

I wear a 34DDD up to a 34G, depending on the manufacturer. Is there anything more frustrating when it comes to bra sizing? The crazy discrepancy in sizes among manufacturers is annoying enough when it comes to things like jeans and blouses! The measurement instructions are useless. I have to go into the store and actually try a few on to figure out what size to get. I have large breasts and a narrow back, and I gave up on Victoria's Secret when the saleslady insisted that a 36D would fit. No, it doesn't. A 36 band will just ride up on my back and since the majority of the support is supposed to come from the band and not the straps, the "you can just adjust the straps" advice is unhelpful.

My days of buying inexpensive bras ended in high school. Natural breasts need support, and I find that I spend at least $50 to get that support. Le Mystere and Wacoal are my favorites. They are expensive, but they last long and are of good quality. The support is excellent, and worth every cent to be comfortable and to make my outer clothes look better. Go to a good department store and have a fitting. That's what I did, and I am glad that I did.
