I agree with you to a certain extent now granted I have only been to Ulta once and I dont know if part of the reason is that they just opened in my area and the people working there are trying to find their way around but the one time I went in there I had to find someone to help me locate a certain perfume nobody came to me to ask me if they could help. At Sephora they do come over to you but they (at least at the store in my area) particly jump on you at the door. So I dont like either scenario. Some times when I go to Sephora I feel like I am followed around like I am a criminal and at Ulta I was ignored. So much for customer service I guess.

I know how you feel..I get followed around too and I have spent HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS of dollars in there, I shouldnt be followed like a criminal. But, the ones who follow me tend to be very giving in samples when you just dont know which foundation or powder you would prefer..

I like them both. The ones I go to I get pretty good customer service so I can't complain about that at either one. I like Utla b/c they tend to have coupons and you can still use vendor coupons so that helps save some $$$. They each carry brands that the other doesn't.

I would rather shop at Ulta, they have a staff that is just more friendly than Sephora. I also like that I receive coupons frequently. I also really like that Ulta has many hair care products to choose from.

I'm a huge fan of Ulta! Between their coupons and points systems you will always get a great deal. They always have "buy one get one free" and "gift with purchase" promotions. The lines that they carry are fab and the staff is very helpful too. I was so happy to find that they are now carrying Rapid Lash. Ladies, it's the bomb! I have, no make that had, the most invisble short and spares lashes and brows. I ordered it online and within a few weeks I had fuller and darker lashes and brows. I don't need to wear mascara! And now I can get it at Ulta using my coupons and points! Sometimes there are long lines at the registers, but the wait is worth it. BTW, I take a book with me when I know the lines will be long like during the holidays. Ladies, you will love this store and I would encourage any one to shop there. Sephora is nice too, but I will always go to Utla first.
