Hello all! I was wondering if anyone had a really good lotion that they used while they were pregnant that helped reduce stretch marks? Although I'm not pregnant yet, I want to be prepared for when I am. Thanks to all!!!

I suppose you've heard that cocoa butter is great for stretch marks, but greasing up with a pure stick of the stuff doesn't sound very appealing. The Palmer brand has a cocoa butter lotion designed for stretch marks. I've never tried it, I always stuck with their regular lotion, but I'm sure both of them are great!
Curel also makes a great lotion called "Pregnancy and Motherhood Moisture Cream".It's great. My favorite thing about it is its consistency. Very rich, yet light and non-greasy. There are reviews for it on this site.

Mama mio is the safest and best way to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy, they have a range of different products to use, such as Tummy Rub stretch mark oil, Tummy rub stretch mark butter, Super smooth body buff and lots more. Hope this will help

Over 50% of pregnant women get stretch marks! Yikes! I’m a member of that group and that’s one club I didn’t want to be a part of! If you’re gonna earn your stripes, you’ll probably begin to see them pop up sometime after the six month mark. Genetics can play a HUGE factor in getting stretch marks. My mom got them up and down her stomach like vertical blinds. Fortunately, I only got a few on the area one might call “the love handles”. I used cocoa butter but not religiously like I should have, AND I didn’t realize I should have concentrated on the sides of my tummy. My sister just had a baby and not one mark! How do you like that? Anyway, she was VERY religious about her cocoa butter and well…I guess it worked.

Good luck!

Both of my sisters had 2 kids each and I don't think that either one had any issues with stretch marks. My mom definitely has some marks, but I think that they are more from 2 c-sections than anything else. I just want to do everything I can on my part to prevent them!!

I have really nasty old stretchmarks from childhood.
The only thing that worked is StriVectin. Its super expensive but it works. Its hella lot of work - apply 3 x a day but the effort pays off if you're not lazy. It is not suitable for pregnant women though.

You can't really do anything about stretch marks , in this case a make up Artis will tell you a bunch of crap that u should put on but really your waisting your money, the people who know best are called your doctors! Stretch marks can not be taken away by a cream they can only be lightened, all you need to do I'd moisturize everyday and night. To help your stomach stretch, stretch marks R hiridetery. I have stretch marks and after I had my first baby they lightened up and you can't see them only feel them, having a child is a sacrifice. Good luck

I also have heard palmers cocoa butter is really good. What most people don't realize is that it helps some with the stretch marks but you are supposed to start using it as the skin stretches before you get marks as a preventative.
