Hello there!

I was advised by some of you to check out Latisse - I took a look at the site and was totally convinced! I would really like to try it, but my _big_ problem is I don't live in the USA...and it seems like Latisse is only available on prescription basis, in the USA! Does anyone have an idea how I could still get to use it? Thanks!!!! Any info is greatly appreciated!!!!!

There's a post on the "Offers and Sales" board about Latisse - apparently you can buy it from a website for $32 without a prescription. I don't know if they ship or sell abroad but you could check. Here's a link to the post: http://www.totalbeauty.com/community/message/18151/latisse-32-no-prescriptions

I remember hearing about a couple other companies who sell lash growth products that are nonprescription. They're fairly expensive - around $150 US. Go to amazon.com and search for lash growth - I've seen the products sold on there before. Good luck!

Wow...thanks bunches!

I've already been on the site and it seems like they ship globally...and at $32 it's almost a bargain!
However, they do point out that one should see a doctor first, even if you don't need any prescription...would you advise me to see an ophtalmologist?

Thank you so much for answering!

Hey there!

Thanks lots for your suggestion, I checked the page out, and indeed, it costs only $32 and ships almost everywhere! However, I also found a very recent post in the forum, about a new and all-natural product (Bamboo Lash). It does the same thing as Latisse, but it is 100% plant-based and therefore has no side effects. Now my dilemma is: should I buy Latisse for $32 and take risks because of the potential side effects or should I buy Bamboo Lash for $129? What would you do in my place?

Did you try Latisse and were you able to purchase without a percription? I would like to try it and am afraid to get ripped off from a fruadulent company online.

Hi there,

No, I didn't try Latisse in the end, but bought the Bamboo Lash product from aveyou.com. I went for it because it's all natural, so I won't have to be afraid of any side effects. It's a bit expensive, around 120 $. One totalbeauty.com member recommended it as being very effective. I think if I will try Latisse in the future I will see a doctor prior to that. Good luck!!!

The truth about Latisse ii that in it's original prescription form is Lumigan (the same exact thing), and you can buy it in it's original form WITHOUT a http://www.inhousepharmacy.com/eyes/lumigan.html, for about $40 plus shipping
of course you need to treat it as though it were 'Latisse' and instead of putting it in your eyes you would brush it on with a pointed Q-tips that you can get at a drug store, the full results take 16 weeks to show, but there have been claims to results as early as three weeks, Happy Long Lashes

All natural does NOT mean there are no side effects just keep that in mind. So many people think that just because something is "natural" it is safe...it is not..poison ivy is natural but it sure is not safe. I would never use anything on my eyes like that prescription or not.

I will bet within the next two yrs the law suits start rolling in on Latisse just like a lot of other prescription drugs, etc.
