Has anyone tried Color Mark temporary hair color meant to cover grays between salon visits?? If so, does it really last till the next shampoo?? Not flake or rub off as claimed?

I'm thinking of trying it so I can cut down on those frequent visits. I get sick of going down there every 4 weeks, which passes like 4 days.

I think the colors are awful and they stain the scalp something awful but I was using an auburn shade. I also tried the mascara for hair that is supposed ot do same thing from Sally's and it is even worse. I personally have found the best product by far is Clairol Root Touchup. Just put it on the regrowth where the gray is showing, front, down part and sides above ears for example and rinse it out in 10 minutes. Do NOT mix up the whole amount as I just mix a little of each developer and color and get 5 or 6 uses out of one box. Like I said only mix small even amount of each part so you get many uses out of it,no need to mix it all and end up throwing it all out after 1 use.

Thanks....Maybe I just need to get the hang of it, but I ended up coloring my scalp with brown dots which I had to remove with baby oil. It's certainly not as easy to apply as they make it look, of course.

My hair slips through their comb's teeth, so it's hard to apply it to the hair! This stuff was expensive, but I thought it would be better than a crayon. It also comes off if my hair gets wet a little from just washing my face! Holy C***! I'm not getting this again, I know.
