I usually use Estee Lauder's pencil eyeliner or Lancome's Artliner liquid eyeliner. I recently tried Makeup Forever's Aqua Eyes & did not like it b/c it would smear. Would love to try others to see if there is anything better.

What are your favorite or not so favorite eyeliners?

I haven't got a favorite, but I recently tried Wet N Wild's H2O eyeliner. It got good reviews on this site, but I thought the stuff was awful. I'm using a Jane eyeliner now. It's the same price but much better consistency.

I use the Victoria's Secret Very sexy eyeliner in Dark Chocolate. I love it! It dosen't smudge at all and it last all day and night.

There are three liners I love. The first is Wet n Wild H20 in black. The second is Shiseido's cream liner which when it sets, it doesn't move. The last is Prescriptives gel liner which also stays all day and doesn't move.

I've never tried cream or gel eyeliner. Is it easy to apply? I can barely get liquid eyeliner on straight.

Very easy. Like with anything, practice makes perfect.

I wouldn't call it 'very easy' but it is easier than liquid liner. It doesn't set as fast so if you make a mistake you still have time swipe it off without having to remove it completely. The texture is very creamy and doesn't tug your lid like some pencil liners do.

I've been playing with my L'Oreal HIP Creme Liner for a while. I can get a pretty straight line, but I still have problems with line width. I think I'm pressing too hard. Or maybe using the wrong kind of brush.

I've been hooked on Ulta's brand, the automatic pencil. It goes on smooth so there's no tugging and dragging going on, and it's really easy to smudge to soften the look. Plus it's design makes sharpening unnecessary. Great soft, muted, usable colors. Try them during their buy on get one, very reasonable price point to begin with.

To get a very fine line, you need to do several things. The first is the brush - make sure you have a nice sharp thin edge on it. Second, I really load the brush up and use short strokes on the skin just above your lash line. The last is VERY important - take your time! I've gotten to the point where I can do a fine line with the cream liner on myself and others. Another tip for you is NOT to stretch your eyelid since this distorts the lid and can cause a much wider line than you want. When I line my eyes, I never close them completely. I just tilt my head back a little so I can see what I'm doing and line VERY close to my lashes. By doing it this way, you do not get the telegraph line since your eye isn't closed which causes the skin to crinkle and create the telegraph line. Your line is straight and thin and very close to the lashes. Hope this helps!

My fav. eyeliner is Sephora's flashy liner. It's truly waterproof, stays on ALL DAY and comes in incredible colors. It's outstanding on your waterline as well. And it's only $8 :)

The worst eyeliner I've ever owned? Covergirl smoothers. Could. Not. Be. Sharpened. At all. It broke off when sharpening every time. It broke off in your eye. It was hard and didn't glide at all. It was a fight, inferior and went in the trash. It ended up all in my eyes if I did manage to get any on. Not worth it at all. I'll never buy another Covergirl eyeliner after that horrible experience.
