Skinny jeans. They're like someone's ancient relative that just won't die. *is bitter about being pearshaped and thus unable to wear them*

Exactly! The bitter part, I mean. They don't flatter my hourglass figure at all, and I just look super silly in them. So, of course, since *I* can't wear them, they should just go away!! ;)

Hilarious! But I'm guilty, sort of. I live in Southern California and live in flip flops all summer but nit with warm clothes. I even have dressy flip flops. I'm loving Coach's new metallic flip flops with the flowers! As for Crocs, I had to buy some last year bc my arches hurt from wearing flip flops but I WILL NEVER wear them in public. They are strictly for inside the house. I even got the "cute" Mary Jane crocs and they are still hideous. I wish they made insoles that I could slip into my cute shoes!

Oh I have no issues with nice flip flops. I totally love the Coach flip flops too! But out here it seems like Old Navy flip flops are worn with everything!

(I started this topic)

I hear you, in Vancouver, where it rains all the time, there were a few people that wore flip flops everyday in any weather.

I agree! I have a large butt, big thighs and a very small waist. Those skinny jeans will never work for people like me!!

I was told that that flip flops are the state shoe of SC. Maybe that is why everyone wears them all year here?

You know, I can remember someone passing around an e-mail of SC fashions and flip flops where on there. It was pretty much a list of what I call the sorority girl uniform. Polo shirt, jean skirt, a strand of pearls, flip flops and a Vera Bradley purse...polo shirt can be subsituted for a sorority of your choice t-shirt. I didn't realize how true it was until I started paying attention on campus, and that is honestly how all of them dress all the time!

Hysterical -- State Shoe of South Carolina! I wish we had warm enough weather to have flip flops as our state shoe. We only get 179 sunny days.

I am so over the skinny jeans. But, I have an hourglass figure, so it just makes me look like I have GIANT hips, and they make me look even shorter.
I do how ever love baby doll dresses/ shirts. I am pretty busty, but I like to hide my tummy area a little bit, so they work well for me. Plus, I think they look nicer than just a plain old t shirt.

I'm also over uggs. I'm so tired of seeing people wear uggs, a short skirt and a tank top. It's like the opposite of what some one else said on here, their feet are cold but everything else is hot. It makes no sense.

I have to agree....my niece is in her 30s and she is definitely that "sorority girl". I guess sometimes she looks cute but other times its like....COME ON have you a life?
