The Biore strips work for me, strong enough to even remove minor hairs in the follicle.

I agree with the aesthetician that you first must get a professional facial WITH extractions. Yes, it hurts a little, but is worth it to finally see those suckers gone.

If you can't or won't do this, I recommend a good scrub/micro-dermabrasion step followed with steaming your face to get the pores open, then a clay-type mask to pull all the gunk out. One key is to keep your face very clean, and avoid touching your face.

Using Serious Skin Care's "Continuously Clear" line, I found that the "Clearz-it" acne medication really worked on my blackheads. I was really surprised.
Check out the kits / sets on HSN. com Be sure to moisturize afterward.

In the summer, I use SSC's "A-copper" line, and their "C" line in colder months. Alternate / also use their "A-force" line.

I plug SSC alot, because but for the money, you can't beat it. And I've really gotten RESULTS. Watch HSN, and you'll learn alot when SSC's show is on. (HSN.com for purchasing)

I've spent thousands on skin care products over the years, from Noxzema in the 1960's, to SSC today. (I'm 52 going on 26)-at least my face thinks so....
*LOL*
Today we are lucky that there are so many innovative products on the market that actually do work. When I was a kid there was only Clearasil.

PS: SSC's phone number is 800-540-8662 and I find them very helpful.

I haven't been able to get rid of them, but DHC Deep Cleansing Olive Oil has been the best so far.

The best way to get rid of blackheads and keep them to a minimum is to you a retonal cream. I use Tazorac. My dermatologist says if she could every women over 25 on a retinol product she would. It isgreat for smoothing skin. My skin feels like a baby's butt. I highly recommend Jan marini products too. Expensive but awesome!
