For regular, everyday moisturizer, I love Lubriderm Daily Moisture Lotion for Normal to Dry Skin. I put it on my body every day after my shower. When I want a something thicker and special, I love the Olive Body Butter from the Body Shop. The light smell is divine and it's so creamy...makes your skin feel amazing after a bath!

Its a cheapie, but I have yet to find something I love nearly as much. Johnson and Johnson 24 hour moisture. It is very lightweight, and absorbs very quickly.

I'm interested in trying this, but was wondering if it had a smell to it.

Just a little bit. It fades pretty quickly though. I put it on about 2 hours ago, and I can't smell it anymore.

Lubriderm does make great lotions! Their Skin Nourishing Moisturizing Lotion with Sea Kelp is also really good.

In my opinion, one of the best lotions on the market (and by market, I mean it may be in your supermarket) is Palmer's Cocoa Butter lotion. I wrote about it in my blog http://intheglow.typepad.com. It has one of the nicest, sweetest smells and, the fact that it has a cocoa butter base really sells it for me. I also found that it was one of the sexiest smells I've ever smelled on a man. It compliments certain perfumes/colognes and I'm so in love with it, I've developed a custom blend of body oils that I mix in my lotion bottle. I get so many compliments. It's the only thing you need to wear, even without perfumes or body oils. But I am a girly-girl and I love fragrance and shoes! Next to this, my favorite smell is Philosophy's Amazing Grace body emulsion lotion. I wear one or the other, hardly ever wear real "perfume." And people stop me on the street to ask what I'm wearing.

I just got the Olay Quench Mousse. It's like hair mousse but it's lotion! It sank right into my skin and a little bit really does go a LONG way. The Active Hydration version smells really fresh, a little like Bath and Body Works Cucumber Melon scent, and the Ultra Moisturize version smells kind of coconut-y. It also leaves a really fine shimmer on your skin. It's (currently) my new favorite lotion.

Bath and Body Works True Blue Spay "Lay It On Thick" body cream. I had a dry spot on my leg that wouldn't go away for like weeks, I used that a few times and it went away. Its amazing in the winter on dry skin.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this stuff. It is the first lotion that doesn't make my skin greasy or itchy.

Right now I'm really digging my Chloe & Jane ultra smooth body butter... it smells soooo good and feels wonderful and hydrating on my skin after a shower :).

I LOVED the original Quench formula when it came out some years ago (the scent and the slight shimmer were super bonuses to the already awesome moisturizing), but I haven't yet tried the mousse!! Ooh I'm so excited, I know what I'm going to invest in next payday :)

I think that Cetaphil body cream (while unglamorous) does a great job of providing rich moisture, while absorbing pretty immediately and not leaving a greasy feel. If you like your moisturizer to have fragrance, it's easy to mix some drops of your favorite perfume oil into the huge tub that the body cream comes in. I've got a scent from Aveda that I love, and the Cetaphil makes a great base for it.
