Oh yeah, they've definitely got a VERY clever marketing strategy going on there. Their marketing executive must be rolling in it!

I agree with everyone about Benefit. I'm such a pushover for great packaging that I buy their products a lot and then feel let down! Especially the Boo Boo Zap - totally useless. I think La Mer is way too hyped too. I've tried the eye balm and didn't love it. Kiehl's is better.

I have yet to try Kiehl's, but I'm hoping to soon. I've heard so much about how great they are. I hope it lives up to my expectations.

Kiehl's is pretty amazing I think! Their Abyssine+ eye cream has definitely gotten my dark circles down to a minimum. I am not a fan of La Mer as much as I should be, I guess! I like their eye cream but most of their products are too rich and heavy for my skin and actually tend to make it feel tight and break out!

I was really sad to discover that I HATE Philosophy's Hope in a Jar! It did nothing for my parched skin and has a stinky smell like sweaty socks! I got the 2 oz jar which is way over priced and because I had to slap on so much it disappeared quickly! I'm glad it's done now - I gave it a fair run 2 months.

I agree with Bare Escentuals being overrated. I swore I'd never buy the stuff but I was swatching and infomercial and I got sucked in. Then a friend told me about it and I rushed out to get a starter kit. Stopped using it within a day and tried to pawn it off on another friend who said, no thanks; she was trying to pawn hers off as well!
