  • Maybelline New York Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Balm

...In Quenched, Peppermint, Cherry Me, Pink Punch and Peach Kiss. I decided to try Cherry Me first and already got a compliment. It delivers a nice wash of red color and my lips looked soft and supple instantaneously! It smells like cherry candy too. Can't wait to see the long term results of this. The fact that it has SPF 20 is a huge plus, though I wish it had all natural products. CONS: This didn't provide the promised "8 hour moisture" and I found myself reapplying after two hours. Also the packaging is a little bulky so it feels weird to apply it on my medium-sized lips, so those with thin lips should be especially careful with application. Lots of artificial ingredients. PROS: Nice wash of color and a delicious smell. Instantly improves the appearance of your lips even though it doesn't last as much as Maybelline claims it does. Overall I prefer more natural brands like Yes to Carrots or BurtsBees, but these lip balms are fun to play with and a good replacement for those of us who don't like lipstick or lipgloss.

    Urban Decay Naked Palette

    Beautiful colors!

I really like this palette! It is such a great value for the price and the colors are amazing for natural looking makeup (and even dramatic makeup if you use the darker shades). The only thing I don't like about this is the brush. I don't know why but I like my Too Faced brushes better, with UD's brush the shadows tend to go on sheerer and uneven. I still like this palette!

    Benefit Eye Bright

    Blend it well

I use this when I'm not in the mood to put on much makeup and just need a quick undereye concealer. If you've got warm undertones like I do, you better blend it well because this stuff is too bright pink. I like it because of its convenience, but maybe it's too expensive for what it is. Wish it came in different colors.

  • Benefit The Porefessional

This stuff is AWESOME!!! Glides on really smoothly over my skin and all my pores and leaves my skin looking like porcelain. I only wish it gave you long-term benefits like Boscia's No Pores No Shine T-zone Treatment.

  • L'Oreal Paris HiP Studio Secrets Professional Color Truth Cream Eyeliner

This cream liner flakes and dries quick. The brush works well, but it's insanely hard and scratchy. This could be something I could live with if it weren't so darn expensive. Next time I'll spend the few extra bucks and buy a MAC fluidline.

  • Rimmel London Colour Rush Mono Eyeshadow

Don't buy this thinking that this is the color that you get because these shadows are way lighter than they appear. I bought what appeared to be a beautiful pale pink and it ended up not showing in my lids at all! Save your money and buy another brand instead.

  • Boscia Luminizing Black Mask

    Boscia Luminizing Black Mask

I can still see all my blackheads

This product did nothing for me when it came to helping remove my blackhead problem (I have an oily T-zone with lots of blackheads on my nose). My skin looked slightly more radiant after using this, but I'm 22 and this isn't why I bought this. I expected clear or at least less clogged pores after spending so much money on this. Sadly, no such luck.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Facial Wash

    Works, but dries out skin

I have noticed fewer blemishes while using this, and it helps make blackheads less noticeable. However, this dries out my skin! Nothing that a little moisturizer can't fix, but it's annoying that The Body Shop claims it won't dry me out when it actually does. Good value for the price and I might consider buying more when I run out if I can't find something better and gentler.

  • Boscia No Pores No Shine T-Zone Treatment
    7.0

Boscia No Pores No Shine T-Zone Treatment

Not a miracle product, but nice

Since it was almost $40 for just one ounce of product, I was expecting better results. This doesn't instantly reduce the appearance of my pores and blackheads. What it does do is provide a very nice cooling sensation while applying, and it does seem to control oil quite well (I'm not as oily at the end of the day while wearing this). Just a pump is all I need so thankfully a little goes a long way and I'm still on the same bottle I bought a month ago. I've noticed a reduction in the visibility of my blackheads (not my pores) while using this at least once every day, but I don't know if it's because of this product, other treatments I'm using, or a combination of everything. I'm not sure if I'll buy again yet, maybe I'll just buy more blotting papers.

  • Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum

Unless you want to wash your hair often with harsh shampoos that contain SLS (Sodium Laureth Sulfate). Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Serum, while smelling delicious and leaving your hair with a good frizz-free shine, has both Cyclomethicone and Dimethiconol listed as the first two ingredients. This is BAD! These two kinds of silicones are not water-soluble, meaning you have to use harsh shampoos and detergents to get rid of them. What these products do is coat the hair entirely, preventing any moisture from getting to your hair. It's a good short-term solution for frizzy hair, but it leaves your hair even drier and frizzier in the long run. It's not worth it! Moisturize instead. Use water-soluble silicones (use Google for a list of them). Curly girls or girls with dry hair, beware!
