It IS pricey, but Lancome mascara is the best, and this version is outstanding. Great volume, definition, extension. I love it.

I've been using this product daily for over 25 years. Whenevr I've tried to switch (to something cheaper), my face breaks out. It's non-drying, and has a very light, pleasant fragrance.
