  • Pureology Super Smooth Condition

I really liked the smell of this more than anything. It smells like baby powder to me, which seems strange, but it really was a nice change from the typical conditioner scents out there. I can't say it did too much to smooth, and it didn't leave my hair as soft as I'd like. But on the other hand it didn't coat my hair, and left it with a nice amount of body, and a bit of shine.

    Pureology Hydrate Condition

    just okay for me

The fist thing I appreciate is the ability to try this product without buying the $20 full size (travel cost me $7). I liked the peperminty tingle of this conditioner, but the hydration wasn't enough for me. I used this condiitoner, rinsed and used again just in case. I have to admit, my hair turned out with some shine, it had body, and looked healthier, and felt soft the night I washed it. The next morning was a little different. It was a little too stiff, and felt a bit like hay, toward the end of the day it started to dry out even more. I'm giving this product a higher score because it conditions in a way that I never experienced. It seemed to condition without coating my hair. So although this isn't one I can use all the time, I still like the product, and think others (who don't have desert dry, chemically treated hair like mine) would really enjoy this condiitoner.

  • Pureology Hydrate Shampoo

I liked this shampoo in that it was pretty gentle, so much so that I had to wash twice, and it still didn't dry out my hair. I was hoping that it would be more moisturizing, but gentle is great. I didn't care for the scent. It reminded me of the herb section of a health food store, and left me a bit nauseated. I liked that it was 100% vegan. I'm sure this shampoo is great for some, but with my overly dry & chemically processed hair, I need a bit more moisture.

  • Mizani Moisturfuse Moisturizing Conditioner

I've always been on the search for a product that will "do it all" for my dry hair, but this didn't do the job. This worked well when my hair was already in pretty good shape, but for the extra dry days, I have to look elsewhere. I spent about $15 for this conditioner, and only use it occasionally. It smells nice, and is better than many, but not the best for me.

    Mizani Foam wrap

    This works well

I like this product mostly because it doesn't dry out my hair. It give a nice hold that lasts until my next shampoo without being sticky or stiff. I haven't tried too many foam wraps, so I'm not sure that there aren't better out there for a lower price.

  • Mizani Spradiance High Gloss Serum

What I really like about this product is that a little goes a LONG way. I bought it about a year ago, and I'm only about half way through the bottle. It cost me about $25 (which I don't mind I spend quite a bit on hair care). This gives me great shine, a bit of control, and has never left my hair feeling greasy. It has been well worth the price to me.

  • Joico K-Pak Conditioner

    Joico K-Pak Conditioner

    Not the best.

I have EXCESSIVELY dry hair. I have to go through hours and hours a week just to get my hair soft and manageable. I was hoping that this would take care of my dry hair (in the process eliminating the nearly 10 step process that I ususlly take). It didn't work. It smells fine (not wonderful nor awful). I purchased the travel size, so the price didn't hurt. I left it on a few minutes, expecting a certain level of softness (yes, I've tried so many products I know what my hair should feel like after only a minute or so). It wasn't that soft, so I caught up on some reading, left it on about 30 minutes to see what it would do. My hair came out moderately soft, but not soft enough. My ends started to dry out and I had breakage before my next shampoo. I'm sure this conditioner is not so bad if your hair isn't as dry as mine. But I won't go back to this one.
