Here are all my reviews:
  • Almay Line Smoothing Under-Eye Concealer

This is a very average concealer. It has very sheer coverage, so if you have dark circles or whatever obvious imperfections, they'll pretty much stay as they are. I don't have any serious lines, but this concealer seems to ALWAYS crease right where those fine lines are and make them obvious. Thus I don't see how it is line smoothing. The good things are: nice natural colors, no smell, ok price. The rest is nothing special. I'm definitely better off just using my revlon colorstay foundation to deal with occasional dark circles and blemishes. I won't be buying this product again.

  • E.L.F. Tone Correcting Concealer

This concealer is pretty good- does a decent job covering imperfections, it's not worse than, say, almay. There are shades to choose from. The package is nice- a tube with applicator. It's not very big, but that's a plus, cause you can use it up before it goes bad. I'm not too crazy about the smell- it smells like oranges, and is a bit too strong to use on under eye area. Overall, a good product for just 1$.

  • Secret Clinical Strength Original

    Secret Clinical Strength Original

    Good but too pricey

I bought this deodorant after Secret decided to discontinue Smooth effects, and it's replacement Outlast & Olay turned out to be completely ineffective. Secret Clinical Strength works well- lasts all day, and the scent (mine is light and fresh) is good, not too overpowering. I'm not sure why Secret recommends applying it before going to bed, I wish they explained it. I apply the deodorant in the morning after shower, cause it feels better that way. I feel like one/one and a half click is enough to last a day without re-application. Secret Clinical doesn't leave marks on clothes, doesn't rub off. I like the packaging (it reminds me of the smooth effects so much))). The downsides are- the tube is very small (1.6oz), and very expensive. I got Clinical Strength in bulk, and with a huge discount, so it's ok, but I'm really not sure it's worth those 8-10$ they sell it for. It's good, but not THAT good. That's why I'm taking 2 stars off. I guess, Secret decided to discontinue their good deodorants or change formulas in less expensive products, to just make money on these. So I can only recommend this product if you get to buy it at a lower price.

  • Garnier Fructis Style Sleek & Shine Leave-In Conditioning Cream
    9.0

Garnier Fructis Style Sleek & Shine Leave-In Conditioning Cream

Excellent help in getting healthy strong hair

I love this leave-in conditioning cream, I think it's perfect for long frizz-prone hair. I use this conditioner pretty much every day, and my hair looks great- shiny and moisturized despite the fact that I use hair dryer all the time, and sometimes skip conditioner. No dryness, no split ends, and lots of shine! The cream smells nice, and the smell is very light, so doesn't mix with anything else you're wearing. The price can't be better- you get a pretty big bottle for around 3$, and given you need just a tiny bit for one use- it lasts forever. Very budget friendly. I saw one of the reviewers write that it weighs hair down, I don't have that at all, and my hair is very long. I can see that happen only if you apply too much or apply on dry hair. Here's what I do for the best results: run a wide tooth comb through my wet hair (very gently), get about a quarter size amount of this conditioner, rub it between my palms, and then run my hands through my hair. After that I do all my normal styling. Works like a charm! And it's always better to start with less, and then add some more if needed. I do recommend it!

  • Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Curl Boosting Mousse

This mousse is not bad, but I haven't noticed much difference between it and any other good mousse. It is light, not sticky, not crunchy, and doesn't leave visible residue on hair, but at the same time it doesn't do much for accentuating and boosting curls/waves. Also, the smell is a bit on the strong side, and it lingers on hair all day, which I don't like, cause I prefer not to mix my perfume with other smells even if they aren't bad. Overall on ok mousse for those who use mousse anyway, but if you expect it to do something special to help curl your hair, skip it, and get Fructis Wonder Waves spray instead, that product really does wonders.

  • Banana Boat Summer Color Self-Tanning Lotion Deep Dark Color

This self-tanner is really good, it gives nice natural color, and is affordable. Out of all the self-tanners I've tried this one is least stinky. All tanners have a certain amount of bad smell in them, and this one is not completely odor-free, but it is by far less strong. The lotion is tinted, so it helps to avoid uneven color. To get really good results exfoliate well, shave, apply moisturizer (skin MUST be well moisturized to be evenly tanned), apply the tanner one area at a time, distribute it with your hands, wash hands, wait till it all dries, and go ahead with your life. Don't apply too much at a time, it's better to add color gradually to have more natural color and avoid any color mishaps. I prefer to apply it in the evening, so I can just wash off the tanner smell in the morning. The only bad thing about this tanner is that it's difficult to find in stores. Dear Banana Boat, make more of this stuff! Your sprays are not bad either, but this is better!

  • Banana Boat Summer Color, Self-Tanning Mist, Fresh Citrus Fragrance

I found this to be a pretty good self-tanner. I wasn't looking for very deep tan, just wanted a bit of natural-looking color. This spray is easy to apply, I didn't have any streaking, uneven tone, etc. It does develop artificial tanner smell sometime after application, but I haven't found a tanner that doesn't do that, so just have to deal with it. The color is rather natural, not orange or yellow- and this is the most important part. To get really good results exfoliate well, shave, apply moisturizer (skin MUST be well moisturized to be evenly tanned), spray on the tanner one area at a time, distribute it with your (or someone else's haha) hands, wash hands, wait till it all dries, and go ahead with your life. Don't apply too much at a time, it's better to add color gradually to have more natural color and avoid any color mishaps. I prefer to apply it in the evening, so I can just wash off the tanner smell in the morning. I do recommend this, and will buy again.

  • ESCADA Sexy Graffiti
    10.0

    ESCADA Sexy Graffiti

    Fantastic! I'm in love!

This perfume is absolutely amazing. I love Escada's limited edition perfumes, and this and Sunset Heat are the best. The scent is very fruity, yet light and fresh. I smell wild strawberries and grapefruit the most. Some might say that there are similar cheaper fragrances out there, but the huge difference is that Sexy Graffiti keeps smelling good after hours and hours- no unpleasant "aftertaste" whatsoever. It's a great fragrance, I literally can't stop smelling it :))). Very sexy, flirty, and fresh. I hope they don't discontinue this again.

  • Wet n Wild Wild Shine Nail Color
    7.0

Wet n Wild Wild Shine Nail Color

    decent for the price

This is actually not bad at all. Dries pretty fast on nails, goes on smooth. It's not very pigmented, so for good deep color you'll have to do 3 layers. Doesn't chip. Lasts relatively long too for a 1$ nail polish (let's face it, this doesn't happen a lot). The bottle is not too small, the brush is nice, colors are fun. I think I'll check out more shades!

  • Olay Age Defying Classic Eye Gel

I'm in my late 20's, so I don't really have issues with lines/wrinkles, etc, but I do get occasional puffiness or irritation, especially when I don't get enough sleep. Even though it's a gel, it feels pretty nice on the skin. It gives a bit of a cooling sensation, and I feel like it helps deal with puffiness (along with actual massage while application). Since it's a gel, it doesn't feel greasy, and is a good canvas for applying makeup. It provides really good calming effect too, I had some irritation on my face, and applied some of this gel on it, the redness and itchiness was reduced in a matter of minutes. A huge plus for me is that this one is unscented. The packaging could be better, cause it's a pretty big jar, and the product is likely to go bad before it is all used up if you stick your finger in it all the time... I don't know if this would help with serious wrinkles, probably not, but it is a good affordable moisturizer, so I do recommend it, and will probably buy it again.
