This is a really nice razor, the head pivots well and the five blades don't really need any pressure so I had no nicks or cuts while using this razor. The small green moisture strip and the blue around the blades left my skin feeling soft after shaving. The negatives are these are quite pricey blades that gunk up fairly quickly. During the winter I often use blades longer than normal because I'm not going for a close shave, but you can't really use this razor once the blades start dulling. I'd say the longest I've been able to use a cartridge would be a little less than a week. Overall I would recommend this razor over the regular Venus and a variety of its competitors.

First things first, I find that I MUST use a primer whenever I use Bare Escentuals. I also make sure that I do my eye make-up first so that if any falls onto my cheeks I can wipe it off without worrying about any other make-up. If you love really crisp, clean lines quickly I wouldn't recommend the BE Liner Shadows. Mixed with water or glycerine you can get quite a smooth line, but it takes extra time and care. I have never had a problem with flaking like some of the other reviewers. With a primer I find that my make-up from BE stays on all day with really saturated colors. I think that is my favorite thing about them; the color in the pot is the color you get. I really love using them when I'm going for the smoky eye look.

This is a great idea for a gift, but you'll want to give it to a guy who already uses Burt's or isn't in love with his shaving foam. The soap scent is great, but it doesn't give the best lather out of shaving soaps I've used. It is still pretty good, but there are better shaving soaps out there. The cup and shaving brush in this kit are pretty nice too.

Each packet comes with three little loofah discs. The first time you put them in water they puff up a bit. Most of the pads have a smooth side and a rough side. I only use the smooth side for my face. I like to spread my cleanser on my face and then gently buff with a pad instead of buying something that exfoliates. I just adjust how hard I need to buff for my current exfoliating needs. These last quite a long time especially if you dry them out between uses. I'm a bit of a germaphobe so I occasionally microwave or boil mine to keep them clean. These are a great, inexpensive, eco-friendly way to keep your complexion glowing!

This is my 2nd favorite scent of Dr. B's soaps. The first is peppermint, but this has a nice floral fragrance for when I want to feel more feminine. It washes off nice and clean and is great for anyone who wants to make their own house cleansers. I know that the 12-in-1 soap thing is not exactly true. This makes a terrible mouthwash, isn't that great for washing clothes and while I use it to wash my face when I'm camping it won't replace my face wash in everyday life. Still it is quite versatile and won't inspire any eco-guilt. Love it!

L'Oreal Paris HiP Studio Secrets Professional Shocking Shadow Pigments
Good value, great pigmentation
I really love using this stuff as a soft shimmery base or highlighter. You can also use water, glycerine or an additive to make the colors really pop. As far as loose shadows go this one is packaged very well and comes with a great little brush. The brush really loads up well and deposits the color evenly when used properly. Not as good as my expensive brushes, but for the price, this is really a great little deal. When used with a primer I had no problems with creasing and in was long-wearing. My biggest complaint would be that there is a really limited palette when choosing from the shadow pigments, but I suppose L'Oreal has a lot of colors in the HIP Shadow Duos, so I can't complain too much.

Good cheap lip balm with sunscreen. Not incredibly moisturizing and slightly waxy which knocks down the rating a bit. They also smell really nice and have a great tube, slim with a good lid. The only thing I don't like about it is that they come in a cardboard and plastic package and I'm not a fan of excessive packaging.

I love the Body Shop body butters but this is one of my least favorite scents. It moisturizes well and is great for dry skin, a good value for money. If you love the scent of papaya you may like this butter. I am a fan of papaya but this particular scent of it doesn't seem to smell right on my skin.

I love Body Shop body butters. That being said, this isn't my favorite scent. I think in is a bit too strong and I tend to like the other scents. I got this as a gift so I ended up using it only when I really needed it. Still if you like the scent it will keep you well moisturized and smelling like pomegranate most of the day. A good buy.

I have dealt with dry skin all of my life and this body butter is one of the best for blasting it with moisture. It is thick and creamy and penetrates well without leaving a slimy coating. The scent is delicious and it is quite a good value. I also love that it comes in a tub which means I'm able to get every last bit out of the package. During the summer I tend to move to some of the Body Shop's lighter body butters but this one is in my winter rotation.
